Where: Studio Montclair 127 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair, NJ 07042
Summary
Every day we are surrounded by objects that we have relationships with – physical relationships, psychological relationships, sensory relationships. These objects carry a history and a set of meanings that we sometimes share collectively and other times are extremely personal to our individual experiences. Found-object artists investigate these relationships; exploring the inherent beauty in objects and how these objects can have meaning shared by the collective memory of our culture/society.
